Learning through play and exploratory learning

Before the children came back to school in September, the staff took part in training related to the value of play and exploratory learning. The training was delivered by Cathy Gunning, who is an expert in play pedagogy. We reflected on our own experiences of learning and planned multi-sensory activities to support the learning of our children. We also learnt about the importance of learning outside and through floor based activities. Everyone is looking forward to using these skills throughout the year.?
