West Lea staff are now able to provide online lessons and learning opportunities for your children. In the coming months, it may be the case that your child is required to self-isolate, this may be for a number of reasons; the bubble that they are in at school may need to close, they may develop symptoms of Covid 19 themselves, they may test positive for the virus or they may need to shield. In all of these cases, your child will have access to online learning.

You will be required to attend daily at least and we will support you in any way we can to make that possible. The software we have chosen to use for our online teaching and learning is Microsoft Teams; one of our teachers, Hannah Jackson Povey, will be offering online parent support sessions every week to enable you to support your child in accessing this.

We are excited about this new teaching and learning opportunity. We are proud of the work our staff have done on this so far. We look forward to working with you to gain the most success from your child’s education while they are at home.
