A pupil’s first day or two of being educated remotely might look different from our standard approach, while we take all necessary actions to prepare for a longer period of remote teaching.
What should my child expect from immediate remote education in the first day or two of pupils being sent home?
During the first couple of days at home your class teacher will be carrying out the following activities:
- Work with you to identify any barriers to remote learning and planning to overcome these together.
- Setting up at least one online session with you to practice with the technology and ensure any issues are ironed out quickly
- Issuing you with a timetable of activities for the next few days to establish a routine
- Alerting you to where work is saved to ensure you can access this for the first few days
